Welcome to our new website. The Ashwaubenon Winter Workout Facility, or AWWF for short, was established for the Ashwaubenon Girls Softball and Boys Baseball to use to work on their hitting, pitching, throwing and fielding along with having fun.

AWWF is located in the Old Woodworkers Depot at 3001 Ramada Way in Ashwaubenon. We are opening for the 2006 season on February 1st. Please check the Girls and Boys Schedule page for practice times.

Rules for use & participation

The objective of this facility is to provide the opportunity to workout/prepare for the upcoming outdoor season. This must be done while assuring the safety of everyone in the facility as well as proper treatment of the facility itself and the equipment therein.

1. No swinging of bats outside of the hitting cages, except under the direct authority of the facility supervisor for things like tee-work, infield work, etc…

2. Only one hitter in the hitting cages at a time when hitting (exception to collect balls).

3. All hitters must wear a helmet while in the hitting cages.

4. Only one person in the cage feeding balls to the pitching machines.  This person must be at least of High School age, preferably an adult.

5. The pitching machines must only be adjusted by knowledgeable personnel.

6. No intentional throwing at light fixtures, doors, walls, net openings or other inappropriate places.  Doing so is cause for ejection for the night and potentially loss of use for the season.

7. Horseplay or other behaviors which could cause harm to others, the facility, or equipment can be cause for ejection for the night and potential loss of use for the season.  You are a “guest in this house!”

8. Any injuries or equipment/facility damages must be reported to the building supervisor before leaving.
